Hightown are looking for a:

Administrative Assistant

 

Salary Scale: Grade 5 (£19,554-£21,227 FTE)

Working Hours:

Monday - 8:30am – 3:45pm and Friday – 8:30am – 4:30pm 

(14.25 hours per week, term time only)

Start: ASAP

 

Hightown Primary School wish to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and committed Administrative Assistant to join our small, friendly school team.  

 

The ability to use own initiative, prioritise workload, work under pressure and enjoy working as part of a team are all essential qualities. 

 

You will need to be cheerful, friendly and be able to communicate effectively with children, parents, visitors and staff throughout the school day. A good telephone manner is also essential.

 

The ideal candidate will have:-

  • The ability to form positive relationships with the children and their families
  • Excellent administrative, organisational and inter-personal skills
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office
  • Possession of good ICT skills and the enthusiasm to learn
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Professionalism, confidentiality and the ability to keep calm at all times
  • A friendly, caring and kind disposition
  • GCSE English and Maths Grade C or equivalent

 

Previous experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given to the successful applicant.  You will receive training as necessary in Tucasi, Arbor, HCSS Accounting and first aid.
